Sant'Oronzo. The Festival returns/ Fane bene e pensanci

The Lecce vernacular is on stage in the green spaces of the Villa Comunale. On stage, during the civil celebrations for the feast of patron saints Oronzo, Giusto and Fortunato, is the 'Mario Perrotta senior' theatre company with the comedy 'Fane bene e pensanci', written and directed by Paolo Stanca. Hypocrisies, subterfuges, slanders and nefariousnesses of the human soul and society are concealed behind the protagonists' facade of respectability, in a crescendo of twists and turns that draws heavily from a classic of Pirandello's repertoire, "Pensaci Giacomino".
