Nuzzo & Di Biase/Delirium for two

It is a perennial, incessant and futile quarrel that is staged on the stage of the Politeama Greco in 'Delirio a due'. The comedy, starring the versatile and volcanic Corrado Nuzzo and Maria Di Biase, plays on paradox and the grotesque, on the language that from being a communication tool to create bonds becomes divisive, exclusionary and aggressive. He and she are prisoners of a dynamic relationship, and marriage, both comical and mocking, a real barrier that prevents them, too busy saturating the air they breathe with spite, from seeing that in the meantime, beyond the domestic walls, war has broken out, the earth trembles, bombs explode and ceilings collapse. Born from the pen of Eugène Ionesco in 1962, the play has spanned the decades without losing any of its disconcerting topicality.
