Eugenio Barba's "professional" autobiography "Le mie vite nel Terzo Teatro. Difference, profession, revolt": why do theatre? The book comprehensively reconstructs the search for the meaning of a creative mission lived as a profession, but also as difference and revolt. A synthesis of Eugenio Barba's path and experience as founder and director of Odin Teatret, theorist and animator of a new group theatre, third to the more conventional forms of action and organisation. The author presents it at the Castromediano Museum in dialogue with Franco Perrelli, followed at 11.30 a.m. by the meeting "Women - Theatre - Memory" with Julia Varley and Mattea Fo. It resumes at 2 p.m. with the screening of the documentary 'The Art of the Impossible', which portrays the extraordinary story of Odin Teatret and Eugenio Barba from their beginnings in a damp bunker in Oslo to their many activities today in Holstebro, Denmark. Director Elsa Kvamme is present. The events are part of the programme set up for the presentation of Laflis - Living Archive Floating Islands, the archive of Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret.
