Now is the time/Valse

The events scheduled for the three-day celebration on the occasion of the presentation of Laflis - Living Archive Floating Islands, the archive of Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret, continue. At the Biblioteca Bernardini, in piazzetta Carducci, at 5.30 p.m., the Teatro tascabile di Bergamo presents some scenes from 'Valse', an open-air performance built around a category-myth of European social culture: the waltz. At 6.00 p.m., in the cloisters, "Books that fly", an opening ritual with Odin Teatret and Teatro tascabile di Bergamo and "Lucky speeches" with speeches by the institutions, followed by the opening on the first floor of the exhibition "My life with Odin" by Danish designer Peter Bysted, Odin Teatret's graphic designer, in the presence of the artist, with a visit to the LAFLIS premises with exhibitions, installations, archives and Eugenio Barba's personal library. It closes at 8.30 p.m. with 'Books of Fire', a digital installation by Stefano Di Buduo and Teatro Potlach. The three days come to a close on Friday 6 with a tour of Salento in the Odin venues, between Gallipoli, Otranto and Carpignano Salentino.
