Now is the time/ In search of theatre

This is one of the most viewed and studied documentaries in the world of theatre. It is entitled "In search of theatre" by Ludovica Ripa di Meana and recounts the Salento experience of Odin Teatret. The scene, filmed in Martano, of a party where a "cultural barter" was practised between the Danish theatrical performers and the local singers and dancers, among whom the Ucci group from Cutrofiano stands out: it is the first dance scene of the Salento "pizzica-pizzica" of which video documentation is preserved. The documentary is screened at the Castromediano Museum as part of "Ora è tempo", the programme of celebrations for the presentation of Laflis - Living Archive Floating Islands, the archive of Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret.
