My Nilde

It is “dedicated to all the women who will live on this earth and who still believe that the world must and can be changed”, the stage show at the former Knos Manufactures, “Nilde mia. Unauthorized autobiography of a statue”. Signed by the director Paola Leone, the show was born as part of "Women tell themselves ... moderates Nilde Iotti", a project to promote women's rights, carried out with women, which involved a group of students, prisoners and political activists. The play, which begins with the statue of Nilde, abandoned who knows where, which awakens with the voices of a procession of women singing feminist slogans, investigates the difficulties inherent in being a woman and in fulfilling a public and institutional role in a a society that is still too sexist and, at the same time, pays homage to Nilde Iotti's politics, her political practice and the role that women have played in the history of our country.
