Medea per strada

The contemporary 'tragedy of the foreigner' told with the power of Greek myth. The performance "Medea per strada" is a real experience that invites the public to get on a bus together with a Romanian woman and her story. A young migrant woman who has fled her country, the modern-day Medea arrives in Italy and ends up prostituting herself for a man who says he loves her and by whom she has two children. The show, the third in the trilogy "La città dei miti", designed and directed by Gianpiero Alighiero Borgia and proposed by Koreja as a collective experience to confront ethical problems and strengthen relations between members of the community, is staged in the refectory of the Parish of Santa Rosa (Via Ugo Foscolo, 29).
