Living archive floating islands/ The Flying Carpet

"The text is a carpet that must fly far". This is the incipit and somewhat the soul of the performance/demonstration of work that Julia Varley brings to the stage at Cantieri Koreja for the series of meetings and reflections on the newly-born "Living Archive" between the Bernardini Library and Koreja. "The Flying Carpet" delves into 30 years of work on the texts of Odin Teatret's plays in which the actress has taken part. From words to writing and then to space, in an hour and a few essential explanations we approach that little prodigy of theatrical creation that leads from cold paper to the freedom of interpretation.
