Freedom Rampanti/Mario Perrotta

"Freedom is not standing on a tree, it is not even the flight of a fly", sang Gaber. And it is precisely to the 'rampant freedoms' that the first act of Mario Perrotta's great new project is dedicated, 'I think I should fly' (Permàr production), to be released between 2022 and 2024. A multiform show, which embraces and develops between literature, music, theatre and philosophy, moving from Sophocles to Calvin, touching on the suggestions of Saint Augustine, Voltaire, Shakespeare, Dostoevsky and Morante, following in the footsteps of the changes that the word 'freedom' has undergone in the history of western culture. On stage at the Abbey of Cerrate, with the actor, several times winner of the Ubu prize, are also the journalist and theatre critic Sara Chiappori, and the theologian Vito Mancuso.
