KIDS / Slips inside. Clowns like you've never seen them before

Rebuild. This is the theme and the watchword of the eighth edition of Kids, a theater and arts festival for the new generations. A party for teenagers, for children and for those who, at least for a while, want to be one again. Rebuild "an interrupted ritual, re-inhabit the scenic spaces, rebuild our places of the soul, rediscover the time of play together, the time of encounter, the time of the theater that can make us grow better", underline the organizers, putting those who will be the adults of tomorrow. Thus 18 theatrical companies arrive in the city, with 50 show performances including theater, dance, circus, new technologies and innovative languages of the contemporary scene. And then meetings, workshops, performances, training activities and the Robin Hood operation, with the "suspended ticket" to welcome the most needy families and encourage associations that work with people in difficult situations.

With the Belgian company Okidok who staged “Slips inside. Clowns as you have never seen them "the first curtain opens, at the Apollo theater, with a show for adults and children" without words "with a very strong scenic impact, with impressive expressive gestures, full of sharp irony, bizarre acrobatics, noises , spells, falls and acrobatics. Everything, to go through the history of clowning. On stage Xavier Bouvier and Benoît Devos, very close-knit duo able to lightly range between juggling, acrobatics, and acrobatics.

The festival is conceived and organized by Factory Compagnia Transadriatica and Principio Active Theater with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Region of Puglia, the Municipality of Lecce, the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, Chain Reaction, Stories sewn by hand, in collaboration with BlaBlaBla, Assitej Italia, Network Antibodies XL, Knos Manufacturing, Railway Museum of Puglia, Cirknos, Ciklofficina.
