The eleventh edition of Improvviva, the theatre season of the ImprovvisArt company, which this year is divided between Teatro Asfalto, Teatro Koreja and Teatro Paisiello, is about to begin. From September to December, the theatre improvisation review will feature six original productions with the actors of the Lecce company, on stage together with the best exponents of Italian and international improvisation theatre. Improvviva begins with "ImproShow", a show by the ImprovvisArt company with Fabio Musci, Elena Selleri, Paolo Paticchio and guest star Massimo Ceccovecchi, a Florentine actor and well-known name in Italian improvisation. The show is strictly without script, costumes or set design. Upon entering the theatre, each spectator receives a card on which to write the theme of the improvisation, the style and even the characters they wish to see on stage. The actors draw them at random from the urn during the performance and take inspiration from them to interpret new stories, atmospheres, plots and relationships that are the fruit of their imagination and skill. The result is an original and unpredictable performance, where anything is possible, full of energy, emotions and a pinch of madness.
