IL TEATRO DEI LUOGHI FEST/ A sense of place for Vito Teti

Leaving and staying are the two extreme choices in human history. The right to emigrate weighs as heavily as the right to stay in a place, perhaps giving it another meaning. The word "restanza" means feeling anchored and at the same time bewildered in that place, which we would like to protect and at the same time radically change. In the meeting "The Sense of Places for Vito Teti," we talk precisely about restance: With Teti himself, full professor of Cultural Anthropology at the University of Calabria and writer, and Luigi De Luca (Director Polo BiblioMuseale della Regione Puglia), Eugenio Imbriani (Associate Professor Demoethnoanthropological Disciplines of the Department of History, Society, Human Studies of UniSalento), Rosa Parisi (Associate Professor of Cultural Anthropology of UniSalento), Angelo Salento (Associate Professor of Economic and Labor Sociology of UniSalento) and Salvatore Tramacere (Director Koreja Theater). Coordinated by Gianluca Palma (La scatola di Latta), in collaboration with the Department of History, Society and Human Studies and the BiblioMuseum Pole of the Puglia Region. The meeting is part of the program of the 16th edition of "Il Teatro dei Luoghi Fest," Koreja Theatre's summer festival.
