It is "the show where you enter as a couple and leave as a single". This is how the Compagnia Piccola Ribalta presents the show 'Mi separo 1', which it brings to the stage at the Politeama Greco. On stage Franco Spadaro, Simonetta Paolillo and Valentina Gadaleta bring to life the first cause of divorce ever: marriage. That, specifically, of a couple together for 36 years with all its small and large contrasts, encrusted with routine, everyday life, intimacy exacerbated within the domestic walls. All brought before a couple's therapist who tries to unravel the tangle of a relationship tangled by time and, perhaps, feelings. The play, which has been staged 334 times in just three years, plays on the edge of irony and spins a series of gags that involve the audience in finding a solution. Because "Marriage is a wonderful institute, but who would want to live in an institute?".
