HERE IF EVER YOU COME/ Gianluca Milanese e Simone Franco

A strongly poetic land: this is how the Salento appears to the eyes of the traveller. And the event organised by the Verri Fund entitled 'Qui sei mai verrai, il Salento dei poeti' (Here you are ever coming, the Salento of poets), which takes its name from the verses of the poet and southern Italy poet Vittore Fiore, the protagonist of the second event at the former conservatory of Sant'Anna, in the presence of the centuries-old ficus magnolia tree, is precisely a journey through Salento poetry of the 20th century. Fiore's poems are declaimed by Simone Franco on the wind instruments of Gianluca Milanese. The ten recitals, held from July to October, are in the calendar of initiatives promoted for Summer 2022 by the municipal administration. The organisation, curatorship and literary consultancy are by Mauro Marino, Simone Giorgino and Piero Rapanà.
