Hamleto

Inspired by William Shakespeare's "Hamlet", this special project is the result of the permanent theatre and disability workshop of Factory Compagnia Transadriatica, a natural continuation of the "Cross the gap" project with which another highly appreciated show by the same company, "Hubu re", was also born. On the stage of the Paisiello theatre, for the theatre season of the Municipality of Lecce, this time comes "Hamleto", curated by Tonio De Nitto and Fabio Tinella, an investigation into the non-conforming body through the non-conforming gaze and words that accompany the descent into Shakespeare's abyss. The stars of the show are a mixed group of people with and without disabilities who have grappled with the tragedy par excellence, plumbing its themes and possibilities and trying, through it, to claim their own existence. Even the words of this Hamleto are written by a non-compliant pen, they are the free birth of thoughts in which person and character mingle, inventing a special, essential and existential grammar.
