Dracula - The Origin of Evil

Premiere of 'Dracula - The Origin of Evil', a rock opera-musical produced by C'era una volta. The theatre company, founded in 2018 in Novoli, has so far staged eight new musicals, written entirely (texts and music) by director and founder Dalila Arnesano. The story of passion, seduction, love and death is set in Transylvania, in the ghostly village of Bran, anno domini 1890. Young lovers Mina Murray and Jonathan Harker are about to be married. Over their happiness looms the sinister shadow of Vlad III the Impaler, better known as Count Dracula. After four centuries of exhausting and painful search, Dracula sees in Mina his Elisabeth, the princess who committed suicide for his sake. Since her death, Dracula has repudiated God and devoted himself to the devil. Feeding on the blood of human beings is the price to be paid for eternity. But now Elizabeth is back and lives again in Mina. Show recommended for spectators aged 14 and over or accompanied by an adult.
