From the words of Lamberto Laudisi, you can immediately grasp the message of “Così è (se vi pare)” (“Right You Are (if you think so)”), by Luigi Pirandello, in which the Sicilian playwright deals with one of the themes he most cares about: the reality shattered into a thousand possible interpretations, so that can never be known. Absolute truth does not exist, everyone has an opinion, which can nevertheless strongly condition the lives of others. Thus, the protagonist of a thousand rumours, even when she is telling “her” truth, ends up saying “I am who I am believed to be”. Geppy Gleijeses, actor and director, a pupil of Eduardo De Filippo, brings this profound drama to the stage of the Teatro Politeama Greco, directing Milena Vukotic, Pino Micol and Gianluca Ferrato in a performance where reality, precisely because it is within everyone's reach, is never truly revealed.
