Corporal mafia. Penelope in chains

The threads of the narrative link one story to another. The stories are those of four very different women: four different origins, four Italian regions, four social classes, four systems of exploitation; but all united by the pain and debasement caused by their condition. “Corporal mafia. Penelope in chains ”is the show taken from Leonardo Palmisano's investigative book staged by the Suddarte company under the direction of Giuseppe Pedone, with Roberta Natalini and Claudia Di Palma.
And in the wake of the book, the play focuses on the female figure as a victim subjected to cruelty and bullying, the most affected by the contemporary system of slavery of the gang-masters. On stage Roberta Natalini plays the role of the interviewer and the interviewee, accompanied by the music and voice of Claudia Di Palma while the scenography and lights design the meeting place with the Penelope on duty, who talks about her own life of struggle and imprisonment, of that Odyssey of human being sold and exploited, of that disinformation that plays with illegality.
The show is held at the Asfalto teatro headquarters.
