Andrea, my first word

Andrea lives in a world of books, immersed in the refuge of his mind, devoid of certainties and points of reference. There, silence reigns supreme while poems and melodies intertwine without interruption. At 27 years old, Andrea suffers from autism. His story is told and performed by Lorenzo Paladini in the play staged in the Sala delle arti of the Convitto Palmieri. One day, Andrea decides to explore himself. His condition, often ignored and not understood, drives him to plumb the depths of his inner world, facing the difficulties and conflicts that arise from it. He knows little about himself, relying only on his mother's words and his father's silences. With innocence and sensitivity, he ventures out in search of himself and what he believed he had lost. The show is curated by the Accademia Mediterranea dell'Attore.
