 Andrea lives the world through books. Hidden in the refuge of his mind, without certainties or points of reference. Where silence dominates and poems and melodies fluctuate and chase each other seamlessly.

Andrea is 27 years old and autistic. “Andrea” is the play by AMA that won the third edition of the Primiceri Prize by Astràgali, a theater staged in the Sala delle arti of the Palmieri boarding school. Andrea one day tries to read himself. His condition, never expressed and never investigated, leads him to explore the depths of his own world, with the misunderstandings and conflicts that derive from it. He knows little about himself, about his mother's words, about his father's silences. Naive and sensitive, on tiptoe he searches for himself and what he thought he had lost.
