Theater of Places/The City of Words

There are ideal cities, imagined cities, cities alive in memory and cities imprinted on yellowed photos. Along the lines of the theme "The past is a foreign country..." that guides Koreja's "Theater of Places" this year, the Rudiae Archaeological Park welcomes "The City of Words. Sound universes, texts and suggestions around the city," a production by the same company. These are six stories that narrate the city, its secrets and the lives that inhabit it, written by spectators for spectators. The stories are only apparently different, they all look alike because the city is the same everywhere and its stories are universal. The stories are by Guido De Liguoro, Stefania Ricchiuto, Gianni Pignataro, Cinzia Dilauro, Paola Pepe, Gabriella Manca; voices by Emanuela Pisicchio, Barbara Petti, Carlo Durante, Andjelka Vulic.

Limited seats: 30 spectators per performance.

One hour before the performance it is possible to take part in a guided tour of the archaeological park by A.R.Va archaeologists (6 euros, excluding performance).
