A journey through the sound suggestions of ancient and traditional music from the Mediterranean basin, in the sign of improvisation and timbre research. Vito Maria Laforgia, with his electronic viola da gamba, is the new guest of the Tutti Solo festival, under the artistic direction of Giorgia Santoro. Viola da gamba and electronics at the same time, the baroque instrument par excellence and modern technology give life to a music of the frontier, in its own way extreme. The itinerary is not mapped out, the concert "Lapsus viol(A)zioni, canterò la terra" moves along unprecedented trajectories of sounds, finding points of contact and places of surprising encounters. The sound of the viola da gamba, woody and rough, is processed and modified by electronics. It is no easy feat to amalgamate two timbres as distant and almost incompatible as those of the viola da gamba and the digital sound. However, it is in these impractical territories that Apulian music has offered the best of itself in recent years.
