TUTTI SOLO/ Fabrizio Piepoli

For the “Tutti solo” music festival, curated by Giorgia Santoro, the Verri Fund hosts the recital by Fabrizio Piepoli. Singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, scholar of the musical traditions of the Mediterranean, teacher of traditional and pop singing, he trained in the 80s on the rock and new-wave scene and at the same time has cultivated a deep interest in ancient music and world music. His voice reflects these varied influences, which blend naturally and determine a refined expressiveness. Piepoli was the frontman of the world music group Radicanto until 2016, with whom he recorded several records and participated in numerous tours. Together with Radicanto he composed soundtracks for cinema and was a finalist in 2006 at the De Andrè Prize and in 2008 at the Tenco Prize.
