Tutti Solo/ Davide Chiarelli

A boy, who grew up on the streets in a small town in the Itria Valley, soon falls in love with music and tries to escape from his origins, following different artistic paths. But there are places in his memory where he returns to take refuge when he feels the need to find inner peace, to relive the nostalgia of lost emotions and to revive memories faded by time. They are places he knows well, where he lived long ago and where he inevitably left a part of himself. They are the places of the heart, special places, which he jealously, intimately and deeply guards. They reveal to him a secret beauty, which takes him straight back to the starting point, where it all began. This is "Bande di frequenza", a story played by the drums and percussion of Davide Chiarelli and narrated by the voice of Piero Rapanà for the "Tutti Solo" festival, curated by Giorgia Santoro. From band to jazz, from improvisation to world music, from experimentation with new sounds to the different use of percussion in a drum set-up.
