Tutti Solo/ Aronne Dell’Oro

For his concert at the Fondo Verri, as part of the musical event curated by Giorgia Santoro 'Tutti Solo', acoustic guitarist Aronne Dell'Oro borrows the title 'Comm'a nu mare ca cuieto pare' from Salvatore Di Giacomo. A musician, singer and arranger, Dell'Oro began in 1995 on a path of study and research to find an original synthesis between Anglo-Saxon folk music traditions and those of Southern Italy and the Mediterranean, to which he adds a dense concert activity. Aronne Dell'Oro's music is rooted in the Salento countryside, where his family is originally from, in the Neapolitan tradition, in the millenary sound suggestions of the Mediterranean, and blends with the magic of the folk songwriting of Nick Drake and Tim Buckley. With his guitar, built by luthier Renato Barone, and with his voice he tries to capture as much as possible of the things that 'speak' to him, that affect him in terms of sensations and that he tries to transform into music.
