TUTTI SOLO/Adolfo La Volpe

"Come Luna nuova", a seven-movement suite for stringed instruments and electronics, freely inspired by the verses of Sayat-Nova, a Caucasian troubadour of the eighteenth century, is the appointment with Adolfo Volpe for the "Tutti Solo" review at the Verri Fund. Poems of love in music, sung by instruments such as the Persian tar, the Turkish oud and the Corsican zither meet contemporary electronics to tell a timeless feeling in "a new moon that grows and is perfected in a circle".

The review is conceived and curated by the musician Giorgia Santoro.
