Tribute to Caruso

100 years have passed since Enrico Caruso is no longer here but his music, his famous arias, remain immortal.

Danilo Rea, passionate about free improvisation, arrives with the piano on the stage of the Apollo theater with “Homage to Enrico Caruso”, a show by Alessandra Pizzi. With the narrating voice of Barbara Bovoli, episodes and anecdotes of Doroty Park come to life, the American wife who married the tenor, from which the story of the man emerges, before that of the artist, since he arrived in New York at the Metropolitan and returned in Sorrento just before he died.

A show, a great story but also a ride in author's music, in the Italian musical tradition that Danilo Rea tells on the keys of his piano.
