TRENTADATE/ Antonio Tosques 4tet Multiform Band

The ancient cavea of the Roman Amphitheatre once again becomes theatre and welcomes back the performance of Antonio Tosques 4tet Multiform Band, organised by Podere 55 A.p.s. All you have to do is look out from the balustrades around, to watch the concert by the versatile guitarist, who in his career has performed in various musical contexts, with musicians of national and international fame, as part of the programme of "Trentadate", a widespread festival of music, art and entertainment staged in the museums, castles and archaeological parks of Apulia, animated by exceptional artists. In the first stage in Lecce, the Amphitheatre hosts Tosques, one of the winners, in 1999, with the group ArtJazz quartet, of the national jazz music competition and in 2003 of the international 'Barga Jazz' competition in Tuscany. A finalist in two editions of the Concurso Internacional De Grupos De Jazz De Granada (Spain) with the Antonio Tosques quartet, his first record work as leader, "Synopsis", bears the liner notes of Paolo Fresu and was reviewed by the American magazine "jazzreview", which defined him as one of the new talents worldwide.

The varied programme of events is the result of a programme agreement between the Ministry of Culture - Regional Directorate for Apulia Museums and the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese - Regional Consortium for Arts and Culture.
