Tito Schipa Music Factory/ Musical Geographies

The rich summer programme prepared by the 'Tito Schipa' Conservatory of Music reaches its epilogue with the grand finale of 'Musical Geographies'. On stage in the green spaces of the Villa Comunale are: Chiara Branca (flute), Eleonora Bruno (violin), Alessandro Chiga (frame drums, saz), Barbara Della Corte (soprano), Francesco Napolitano (guitar), Andrea Parisi (violin), Morris Pellizzari (frame drums, saz), Alessia Ragusa and Chiara Sticchi (violin), who alternate in three separate sessions: Traditional sounds, melodies and rhythms from the Mediterranean basin, Yiddish and Klezmer in the first part, music and word recitals to reflect on conflicts and holocausts in the second and, to finish, performance for string quartet of 19th and early 20th century compositions.
