The Conservatory Concerts / Wind of classicism

It is the "Summer edition" of "I concerti del Conservatorio", the festival organised by the "Tito Schipa" in collaboration with the municipality, which, for its second appointment, sees the "Wind of classicism" blowing among the strings of the Teatini cloister. The concert is introduced by a short symphony for winds by Gaetano Donizetti, almost an overture, the programme then focuses on Ludwig Van Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C major. On stage is the Tito Schipa Wind Ensemble: Marco Delisi, Gabriele Adamo (flute), Giuseppe Giannotti, Marco Corsano (oboe), Cristian Costantini, Michele Nicolaci (clarinet), Giuseppe Spedicati, Elisabetta Contaldo (bassoon), Massimo Perrone, Antonio Leccese (horn). Closing is two of 21 brilliant Hungarian dances by Johannes Brahms.
