Talking Disks/ Lauryyn and Yorker

Music and words. Dischi Parlanti' is back, the Officine Cantelmo review promoting emerging Apulian and national music, in collaboration with CoolClub and Radio Wau. The line up for the first evening features Lauryyn and Yorker, with live performances preceded by short interviews. Lauryyn is the solo project of Aurora De Gregorio, the young singer-songwriter leader of Puka Shell's Bling and member of the Mufu collective. Her influences range from r&b to neo soul, from jazz to experimental electronica. After her debut with "Cos'è una regola", her second single "Limbo", produced by Filippo Bubbico for Sun Village Records, was released in October. Next up is Yorker, a duo formed by drummer and singer Antonio 'Dema' De Marianis and guitarist Gino Semeraro. Their 'Italian neo soul' marries songwriting with soul and R&B sounds. They offer "Una", their debut album published by Sun Village Records, a record enriched by collaborations with Raphael Gualazzi, Android, Terron Fabio, Mauro Durante, Giudi, Filippo Bubbico, Mauro Tre, Tony Tarantino, Gabriele Blandini, Sandro Nocco, Paco Carrieri, Tonino Barresi, Aurora de Gregorio, Chiara Corallo and Donny Balice.
