Talking Disks/ Di Maggio and Malamore
Second evening of 'Dischi Parlanti', a musical event dedicated by Officine Cantelmo to singers and bands from the Apulian and national indie scene, in collaboration with CoolClub and Radio Wau. First on stage is the talented singer-songwriter class of 2003 Di Maggio, fresh from the release of the single 'Senza il tempo di reazione'. Produced by songwriter Arale (stage name Lara Ingrosso) and recorded in the studios of Manu Funk's Funkeria Records, the song is about a love story that never began. Di Maggio (Riccardo Roma) is a protean, exuberant and melancholic soul. This is followed by a concert by the trio Malamore, namely Osvaldo Greco (vocals and guitar), Matteo Spano (drums) and Giacomo Spedicato (guitar and bass). They play tracks from their new album 'Il tempo per noi', an elegant and innovative record, in which tradition and experimentation, pop atmospheres and vintage arrangements coexist. It consists of 10 tracks, reminiscent of the sounds of the 60s and 70s, imbued with a melancholic creative sweetness. Like being in a suspended time, during the last days of summer at the seaside.
