Tales of the Jazz Age/ Paolo Fresu

A journey through the Roaring Twenties, the Jazz Age', as it is commonly referred to, a nonchalant era characterised by wild dances, dreams of success and liberation of customs, which also conceals a painful reflection on the relationship between fantasy and reality. Representing it all, with his trumpet, one of the greats of world jazz, Paolo Fresu, a guest in the cloister of the Teatini. The show, an Ergo Sum production, is made up of small, wonderful frescoes of an era full of life and festivities, but it is also
also a window into the world of Fitzgerald and the middle class of the time devoted to luxury and parties but pervaded by conflict. Also on stage with Fresu is actor Paolo Briguglia, for an unprecedented tale of music and narration.
