Stabat Mater/ Passio

It is in memory of Don Gaetano Quarta that the third concert of the organ review 'Stabat Mater dolorosa' animates the spaces of the Church of Santa Maria della Grazia with music. Organised by maestro Francesco Scarcella, with the aim of raising funds for the restoration of the Pinchi organ, the line-up of performances is enclosed in "Passio" and sees Biagio Putignano, organist and teacher at the Bari Conservatory, at the keys of the organ. On the programme are Frescobaldi, Pachelbel,

Couperin (musician at the court of the Sun King at Versailles) and Zimarino's 'Franciscan Fioretti'.
