A not-to-be-missed live performance by Sergio Caputo, the Italian singer-songwriter made famous by the successful 1983 song 'Un sabato qualunque, un sabato italiano'. His music is a successful mix of the mambo and swing of the 1950s, with sounds that combine with brilliant and lexically refined lyrics. After moving to the United States, in California, the 67-year-old Roman musician plays and records smooth jazz albums, periodically returning to Italy for short tours.
