Romanov Arena/ Il Mago Di Oz (The Wizard Of Oz)

The fairy tale of "The Wizard of Oz", based on the book by L. Frank Baum, is presented in this family show in a special scenic key, merging the languages of the musical and contemporary circus. The cast of 25 performers on stage at the Politeama Greco in Lecce is made up of singers, dancers and some of the world's greatest contemporary circus acrobats, winners of the Award of International Circus Festival in Montecarlo and Got talent. The staging of the show is enhanced by original animation, 3D graphics, special effects and phantasmagorical costumes, all created by the Romanov Arena creative team. Dorothy is a little orphan girl, living in Kansas with her aunt and uncle. A tornado sweeps away their house, with Dorothy inside, transporting her to the land of Oz. Dorothy makes her way to the kingdom's capital, the Emerald City, where the all-powerful Wizard of Oz is located. Show not included in the subscription, tickets on sale from 1 September.
