Pinturas Duo

With the new year comes back music curated by Good Vibes - Musica Cultura Ambiente, under the artistic direction of double bassist Marco Bardoscia, in collaboration with Nasca Il Teatro, a social and cultural space animated by actor, author and director Ippolito Chiarello. At 28 Via Siracusa vibrates the jazz of the Pinturas Duo, with a double set at 8 and 10 p.m. Roberto Ottaviano's saxophone and Nando Di Modugno's classical guitar take their cue from the most celebrated compositions of their favorite composers, from Maurice Ravel to Caetano Veloso, from Ralph Towner to Ravi Shankar, from Neapolitan classics to Sting, to propose original musical stories and soundscapes, firmly planted in the roots of Southern Italy as of all the Souths of the world and yet projected into the future. Skillfully mixing classical and world music, jazz and ethnic roots, pure song and great classics, the two musicians and composers from Puglia play and have fun with notes. Their concert is a tribute to their longstanding friendship and shared love of music.
