Piano city Lecce/ Noemi

“Music is a wonderful place”. In the claim of the Piano city Lecce festival, the intent is clear, and so are its protagonists. First of all, the great music, which from the most pompous classical to sophisticated experiments, pervades the whole city. And secondly, the places. Because, thanks to the patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Province of Lecce and the University of Salento, the Icon radio visual group association with Alessandro Maria Polito, and the artistic direction of Andrea Mariano, founder of Negramaro, the initiative has the aim to rediscover of many places in the city that are sometimes too "hidden" or little known. There will be a flying start: at 10.30 pm, the green landscape of the Rudiae Archaeological Park welcomes an exceptional guest, Veronica Scopelliti, also known as Noemi. Her scratchy and unmistakable voice pierced the screen of X Factor 2009, and despite ending without her victory, the show made her known throughout Italy, and the following year she made the first of seven appearances at the Sanremo Festival. Her vocal timbre is recognizable everywhere, and she is one of the strongest stage personalities of the last half century of Italian music, the Roman singer-songwriter fills the amphitheater "of the olive trees", unveiling the festival in the name of the blues and great songwriting.
