Piano City Lecce/ Giuseppe Sarno

The pianos of Piano City Lecce also arrive in Borgo San Nicola. The festival, which among its peculiarities also has that of enhancing everyday places through piano music, is a production of Icon radio visual group and enjoys the artistic direction of Andrea Mariano, producer and keyboardist of Negramaro. At the black and white keys sits Giuseppe Sarno with a tribute to Keith Emerson. Sarno, born in 1981, began as a self-taught musician before studying with Vittorio Nocenzi, pianist of the Banco di mutuo soccorso, and began his concert career at only 14 years old. His repertoire ranges from classical to progressive and boasts collaborations with Alan Clark and Phil Palmer of Dire Straits, and Ian Paice of Deep Purple.
