Piano city Lecce/ Alessandro Deljavan

Not every architectural pearl scattered throughout the city, is always accessible to the public. The Piano city Lecce festival, with the claim "Music is a wonderful place", has the aim to discover the most characteristic and hidden places thanks to the elegance of piano music. This is what happens with the architectural complex of the Franciscan Friars Minor, which stands on Via Imperatore Adriano, and houses the sanctuary of “Sant'Antonio a Fulgenzio”, with a style inspired by the Middle Ages. At the stroke of midnight, the church opens up to the piano of Alessandro Deljavan, born Giulianova, who at the age of just 19 was already making his debut as conductor of the Verdi Orchestra in Milan. His lineup of classical pieces closes the first day of the rich concert series.
