Paolo Fresu Quartet

Paolo Fresu Quartet

Paolo Fresu returns to Lecce, in the spaces of Nasca the theatre, and it is already sold out. There are still a few places left (for the 10 p.m. set) to make sure you get the chance to see the Sardinian musician's new project. Fresu will take the stage together with Daniele Di Bonaventura (bandoneón), Dino Rubino (piano) and Marco Bardoscia (double bass), bringing the soundtrack to the docufilm 'The Beat Bomb' by director Ferdinando Vicentini Orgnani, which tells the story of Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Poet, painter, and activist, the Italian-American founded the City Lights bookstore in San Francisco in 1953, which, thanks to his close friendships with many of the leading figures of the Beat Generation, including Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso and Jack Kerouac, soon became the movement's flagship publishing house. The concert, which consists of 13 original pieces taken from the poem 'Autobiography' and other texts from Ferlinghetti's literary corpus, is part of the review curated by the Good Vibes-music-culture-environment association.

Admission reserved for members: 25/30 euros.

Info: 389/5359459.
