Opera arias and stories

Celebrating its 11th birthday is the end-of-year concert performance of the Liceo Classico e Musicale "Giuseppe Palmieri," staged in collaboration with the "Tito Schipa" Conservatory of Lecce, the Oles and the Ars Nova Choir. In this edition, students and faculty confront with enthusiasm and commitment a tradition deeply rooted in our national culture, that of opera arias and stories. The students experience the strong emotion of performing on the stage of the Apollo Theater together with their teachers, professional musicians from the Lecce and Salento Symphony Orchestra, some elements of the Lecce Opera Choir, and the Ars Nova Polyphonic Choir, directed by Dolores Mancarella, who teaches piano at the high school.

Conducting the orchestra is maestro Realino Mazzotta while the choir is under the baton of Simona Gubello. Free admission with reservations.
