New Year's Eve in Lecce/ Raf

The New Year's Eve bangers are more musical than ever in Lecce's Piazza Libertini, where the New Year's Eve celebration curated by the City Council returns. We say goodbye to 2023 and look forward to 2024 as early as Dec. 30 along with the Italian pop of Raf. Born Raffaele Riefoli, his dazzling debut was with "Self Control," which became one of the signature songs of the 1980s. Today, more than 30 years after that success, the Apulian singer-songwriter counts international hits such as "Cosa resterà," "Gente di mare," "Il battito animale," "Due," "Sei la più bella del mondo," "Infinito," and "In tutti i miei giorni" among his hits. One hit after another he brings to the Lecce stage in an engaging mix of classics and unreleased songs. Also on the setlist is his latest single "80 voglia di te," a concentrate of pop music capable of spanning several generations.
