Lupiae Guitar Arts Festival/ Riccardo Calogiuri

Twelfth edition for the Lupiae Guitar Arts Festival, an international review of guitar and the arts, organised by the Accademia Lupiae under the artistic direction of maestro Gabriella Lubello. "We are proposing a wide-ranging event, dedicated to the guitar in all its forms and souls and also to the arts as a whole," Lubello announces. "We like the idea of fostering the culture of listening, offering the concerts free of charge to the community and especially sensitising the new generations to listen to quality music. We intend to create a direct relationship between the public and musicians, an immediate contact that comes from the heart'. The first event on the bill will feature the performance of an exceptional soloist, Riccardo Calogiuri. He is a virtuoso, a talent from Salento, winner of no less than 29 national and international competitions. Golden guitar as Italian promise at only 19 years of age, he has played in the USA at Pepperdine University in Malibu and at the most important international events in the sector, including the International guitar festival of Great Britain and the Andrès Segovia Festival in Madrid.
