Lupiae Guitar Arts Festival/ Duo Devecchi-Seminara

The duo Salvatore Seminara and Paolo Devecchi close the Lecce cycle of the Lupiae Guitar Arts Festival with a concert in the auditorium of the Sigismondo Castromediano Museum. The two musicians with their rare and well-established musical chemistry began playing together in the mid-1990s, at the end of their academic training. Since then, the guitar partnership has performed hundreds of concerts in many European festivals and countries such as Albania, Argentina, Austria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Russia, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland. Their compositional inventiveness is expressed in the performance of their own music that, while firmly anchored in a traditional treatment of the instrument, draws inspiration from different stylistic matrices, giving rise to a musical proposal that combines tradition and modernity.
