Locomotive Jazz Festival/ Raffaele Casarano and Annalisa

Culminating on the beach at San Cataldo Marina is the Locomotive Jazz Festival 2023. Dawn in Jazz greets the sun rising from the sea with the voice of singer-songwriter Annalisa, who starting at 4:30 duets with Salento saxophonist Raffaele Casarano, artistic director and soul of the festival. Playing with the two protagonists on stage are Mirko Signorile on piano, Giorgio Vendola on double bass, Alessandro Monteduro on percussion and Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti on drums. The 18th edition is that of maturity for the kermesse born in Sogliano Cavour in 2006, which over the years has turned the spotlight on Salento thanks to the many music bigwigs, who have illuminated its stage with their art. LJF has come a long way, turning into a cult event of the Apulian summer. The closing concert, which puts the seal on a high-level edition, boasts the artistic co-direction of Giuliano Sangiorgi and the partnership of Sangiorgi music editions.
