Karaoke Indie Club Tour

For those who get bored at the Ricchi e Poveri or Albano e Romina themed karaoke evenings and perhaps dream of performing on stage with a real band, surrounded by people having fun together, there is "Karaoke Indie Club Tour", the format that has brought the whole of Italy together. From Turin to Palermo, 100,000 tickets have been sold in a hundred or so dates, with the biggest Italian indie hits of the last few years on the bill, from Blanco to Calcutta, from Gazzelle to the Nuclear Tactical Penguins, from Thegiornalisti to many others. The success of this format lies in singing accompanied by authentic musicians, not the usual musical backing. The idea was born to involve the younger audience with karaoke, guaranteeing anyone the warholian '15 minutes of fame'. The karaoke band includes guitarist Alessandro Gatto, multi-instrumentalist Enrico Dolcetto, keyboardist Alessandro Solidoro and drummer Eliano Ficca Persichitti. Before and after the live show, the best of indie music will be danced to by the scene's best-known DJs.
