JAF/Solo Duo

The sixth edition of JAF, the Jazz Around Festival directed by Maurizio Petrelli, is dedicated to the female artistic universe. JAF promotes the culture of jazz music, both Italian and world-wide, and brings original projects contaminated by different genres to the Teatini in Lecce. This year, the three evenings will feature female headliners from the international scene and young talents to be promoted in a context that is also intended to be an opportunity for in-depth discussion on the issues of equal opportunities in the world of music and culture, both Apulian and Italian. The opening of all evenings of JAF, realised with the artistic collaboration of Alfamusic, Conservatorio Tito Schipa di Lecce and Gianluca Di Furia Production, is entrusted precisely to the young people of the Conservatorio Tito Schipa di Lecce.

The second evening is opened at 9 p.m. by Conservatory students Angelica Buccoliero and Giada Imparato (vocals), Daniele Russo (guitar), Sergio Limetti (piano) and Elena Chiri (vocals).

At 9.30 p.m. the "Solo Duo" show in which Ilaria Pilar Patassini (vocals) and Roberto Tarenzi (piano) offer a repertoire of songs under the banner of crossover and happy encroachments, where jazz makes each interpretation even more universal. From Pino Daniele to Burt Bacharach, from Vinicius de Moraes to the Beatles, SOLODUO's live performance is a recital but also a continuous divertissement for the two great musicians, in a joyful and intense exchange between tightrope walking and feeling. A concert for everyone.
