JAF FESTIVAL/Jazz: ieri, oggi e domani

Guido Pistocchi and the Dixieland jass band open the fifth edition of the Lecce Jaf Festival, entitled "Jazz: yesterday, today and tomorrow", organised by the "Soul Brothers" musical association of Monteroni, in collaboration with Puglia Region and the City of Lecce. The well-known composer and trumpeter from Cesena will perform a repertoire ranging from the origins of jazz to the 30s and 40s. The Dolphins Big Band, directed by Massimiliano Bucci, will continue its musical journey through the jazz tradition of the 40s and 50s with a 20-piece orchestra, playing Old American swing and paying tribute to Stan Kenton.
