International Arts Festival/ E lucevan le stelle

The summer stage of the International Arts Festival reopens, where music, dance and theatre meet history, archaeology and nature in full celebration of all the arts. The first event of the 11th edition is the Grand Opera Gala 'E lucevan le stelle. Tenori all'Opera', presented by Rosangela Giurgola in the enchanting setting of the amphitheatre of the Rudiae Archaeological Park. Opera arias from the international and Neapolitan repertoire are entrusted to the voices of no less than four tenors: maestro Salvatore Cordella and the other performers Giuseppe Tommaso, Vincenzo Spinelli and Andrea Cataldo. Maestro Roberto Corlianò accompanies them on the piano. The concert is organised in collaboration with the Fai delegation of Lecce, which will lead a short guided tour of the site with its volunteers. Two times are scheduled for the visits: 6 pm and 7 pm, with reservations by text message to 328/818879.
